The 4th edition of the Blender’s Choice OTT & Digital Content Awards 2024, organized by Ispahani Group, was held on 7 September at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center’s Hall of Fame. The gala celebrated the achievements of artistes, content creators, and production houses shaping Bangladesh’s digital entertainment industry.

The event featured speeches by Mr. Mirza Ahmed Ispahani, Director of Ispahani Group, and Mr. Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star. Among the distinguished attendees were Mr. Mirza Shakir Ispahani, Managing Director of Ispahani Group; Directors Mr. Emaad Ispahani, Ms. Zahida Ispahani, and Mr. Akhter Matin Chaudhury, Director of Ispahani Tea Limited. The occasion was also graced by Ms. Tahsin Chowdhury Ispahani. All extended their congratulations to the winners and expressed confidence that Bangladesh’s entertainment industry will continue to reach new heights.

A total of 27 awards were presented across Popular, Critics, Music, and Individual Content categories, along with two special recognition awards. The award show once again reaffirmed its role as Bangladesh’s premier platform for inspiring bold, innovative, and impactful digital storytelling.

Ispahani received national recognition for its outstanding contributions to the tea industry at the National Tea Award 2025, jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Bangladesh Tea Board. Our renowned Mirzapore Tea Garden was awarded ‘Best Tea Garden for Worker Welfare,’ acknowledging our continued commitment to the health, education, and well-being of our tea garden workers.

In a moment of double pride, Jasmine Akhter, a dedicated tea worker from our Neptune Tea Garden, was honoured as the “Highest Tea Leaf Collector” for the second year in a row. The awards were presented by the Honourable Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Sheikh Bashir Uddin, and received on behalf of Ispahani by Mr. Emaad Ispahani, director of the Ispahani group.

The event, held in the presence of esteemed government and industry leaders, is a testament to Ispahani’s leadership in quality, responsibility, and social impact within the tea sector. This achievement reflects the hard work of our teams on the ground and reinforces our mission to blend excellence with care across every leaf we produce.

Ispahani is proud to announce the successful conclusion of Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid Season 6, a television reality show dedicated to promoting the correct use of the Bangla language among the youth. The grand finale of this year-long initiative was held at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka.

Throughout the season, the competition engaged students from all 8 divisions and the Cumilla region, encouraging them to champion proper grammar, accurate spelling, and overall linguistic excellence. After rigorous rounds of assessment, Abhishek Das from Cantonment English School & College, Chattogram, was crowned the Best Banglabid and awarded a scholarship of BDT 10 lakh. Rifa Tasnia from Ideal School and College, Dhaka, secured the second position and received BDT 3 lakh, while Rashmi Tultul Chowdhury from Ispahani Public School and College, Chattogram, earned the third position with a scholarship of BDT 2 lakh.

In addition to the top three prizes, each of the top ten finalists was awarded a laptop, Bangla books worth BDT 50,000, and a bookshelf to inspire lifelong reading and learning habits.

The grand finale was attended by distinguished guests, including Ispahani Directors Ms. Zahida Ispahani, Mr. Emaad Ispahani, Mr. Mirza Ahmed Ispahani, and Ms. Tahsin Chowdhury Ispahani were also present and graced the occasion.

Ispahani Group’s Mirzapore and Zareen Tea Gardens have received the prestigious Green Factory Award 2025, recognizing the group’s excellence in worker welfare and environmentally sustainable practices.

The award is jointly organized by the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE), under the Ministry of Industries, Government of Bangladesh.

The award ceremony was held on June 24 at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium, Dhaka. Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. M. Sakhawat Hossain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Shipping, attended as Chief Guest, while Mr. Adilur Rahman Khan, Adviser to the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, was present as Special Guest.

Mr. Mirza Ahmed Ispahani, director of the Ispahani Group, received the awards on behalf of the Ispahani Group. Senior officials from the tea gardens were also present at the occasion.

This recognition highlights Ispahani’s ongoing commitment to responsible business practices and a safe, worker-friendly environment.

Country’s leading business enterprise Ispahani sponsored a modern seminar library for the Department of Persian Language and Literature, University of Dhaka..IspahaniGroup and Allama Rumi Society patronized the modern and renovated library named after Syed AhmadulHaque, who is known as Rumi of Bengal.

Ispahani Mirzapore won the “Best Hot Beverage Brand (Tea) Award 2021” on Wednesday (29 December) for the seventh consecutive year.

Along with this, it won the second top spot in the “Overall Best Brand” category among all local and multinational brands in the “Best Brand Award 2021” organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum in partnership with NielsenIQ at a hotel in the capital, reads a press release.

S M Didarul Hasan, deputy general manager of the company’s marketing department received the awards on behalf of Ispahani Group along with the other officials from marketing department.

A survey was performed under the “Winning Brands,” a world-renowned brand research model of NielsenIQ where Ispahani Mirzapore has one the “The Most Loved Brand” spot by consumers.

On the first day of the two-day tour, the diplomats visited Ispahani tea garden factory in Moulvibazar and witnessed tea processing

Diplomats stationed in Dhaka and heads of international organizations are visiting Srimangal to discover and witness firsthand the beauty of Bangladesh.

A delegation led by Foreign Minister Abdul Momen left Dhaka on Friday morning and are scheduled to return on Saturday.

On the first day of the two-day tour, the diplomats visited Ispahani tea garden factory in Moulvibazar and witnessed tea processing, said a foreign ministry official. Each delegation member was given processed tea as gift.

The delegation was given a warm welcome at Grand Sultan Resort where they attended a cultural event in the evening.

The foreign minister said that the purpose of the visit is to inform the foreign friends of Bangladesh about this country, its rich culture, and tourism potential.

Some 57 members, representing 35 countries and seven international organizations, are part of the trip, said the foreign ministry official.

আগামী ৭ই জুলাই টেস্ট ম্যাচ দিয়ে সিরিজের খেলা শুরু হবে। সিরিজের প্রথম একদিনের আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচ শুরু হবে ১৬ই জুলাই এবং প্রথম টি-টোয়েন্টি ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ২৩শে জুলাই। সবগুলো খেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে জিম্বাবুয়ের রাজধানী হারারেতে।

Ispahani Tea Limited received an honorary commemorative in recognition of its significant contribution to the tea industry of Bangladesh at a function organized on the occasion of the ‘Second National Tea Day 2022’.

The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman became the first Bengali Chairman of the Tea Board on 4th June 1957. To make the day memorable, Bangladesh Tea Board has been celebrating the 4th of June every year as the National Tea Day since 2021. 

On this occasion, Bangladesh Tea Board organized a grand program on 4th June 2022, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium, Dhaka. Special honours and recognitions were given to various individuals and organizations for their important contributions to tea production and the development of the tea industry of Bangladesh. 

At this time, the Minister of Commerce handed over a special memento to Mirza Salman Ispahani, Chairman of Ispahani Group, one of the leading organizations in the tea industry of Bangladesh. 

Minister of Commerce Tipu Munshi was present as the chief guest while the Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed was present as the special guest at the ceremony. 

The event was presided over by Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary, Ministry of Commerce. 

Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board Major General Md Ashraful Islam; FBCCI President Mohammad Jasim Uddin; Chairman of Tea Traders Association of Bangladesh Omar Hannan and Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association, M Shah Alam were present at the program. 

Various people involved in the tea industry of Bangladesh were also present on the occasion.
